Adventist HealthCare Limited (AHCL) is seeking a dedicated cleaner for Sydney Adventist Hospital to maintain patient rooms and ward areas to a high standard. The role supports both clinical and non-clinical spaces, contributing to a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.

You will work within a collaborative team, bringing a customer-first mindset and flexible availability across a rotating roster from 7am to 10pm. No hospital experience is required, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience in healthcare environments is preferred but not essential.
• Clear and professional communication with patients, visitors and colleagues.
• Confident working independently while contributing to a team.
• Available to work across a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday.
• Strong organization skills and task management.
• Understanding of WHS safety and hygiene standards.

What You Will Be Doing In This Role

In this role, you’ll help maintain patient rooms and ward areas to a high standard, working across both clinical and non-clinical environments. Following established cleaning procedures, you’ll contribute to a safe, hygienic and comfortable space for patients, staff and the broader community.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative team, while also taking ownership of your responsibilities day-to-day. Just as importantly, you’ll bring a customer-first mindset - interacting with patients, visitors and colleagues in a professional, respectful and approachable way.

These are Permanent Full-Time and Part-Time roles with various shift times between 7am - 10pm, Mon-Sun. You’ll need to be available to work across a rotating roster.
