Colonial Group in ACT is seeking a diligent cleaner to join our team for site cleaning, supervising a small crew across nearby centres. You’ll train staff during site visits, report to the Cleaning Operations Supervisor, and help maintain standards and performance.

The role offers reliable hours, a competitive hourly rate with part-time loading, uniform and PPE, and retailer discounts. A smartphone is required for work communications and valid Australian work rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead a small team.
• Confident in troubleshooting cleaning equipment.
• Smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver’s licence and reliable car.
• Willing to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality cleaning services on time and to scope.
• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces; disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery; perform physical tasks.
• Supervise and train team members through site visits and hands-on support.
• Act as first contact for on-site queries and elevate urgent issues.
• Manage equipment and supplies, reporting faults and maintaining stock.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.

Join Our Cleaning Crew!

Based in Kambah, ACT, you’ll handle daily cleaning at your site and support a small team across nearby centres—providing troubleshooting, training during site visits, and updating the Cleaning Operations Supervisor on standards and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
