Job summary

Colonial Group in Bendigo is seeking a friendly cleaner to join our team for casual evening shifts, Monday to Friday 7pm–9pm. You will perform cleaning tasks across activity rooms, amenities and shared spaces, ensuring high standards of hygiene.

Disinfection of high-touch surfaces, dusting, vacuuming and mopping are part of the role, with adherence to OH&S policies and PPE provided. No heavy prior experience required; a smartphone for work communications and valid Australian working rights are

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).
• Smartphone required for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver's license and own car preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
