Job summary

A Mother’s Touch is seeking a Cleaning Team Leader to oversee day-to-day onsite operations on the South East Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula. You’ll lead cleaning teams, maintain standards and coordinate with management, bringing hands-on leadership and a passion for outstanding client service.

This newly created role offers genuine ownership, an electric company vehicle, and the chance to shape systems, train staff, and grow with the business as it expands.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or operational leadership role.
• Experience managing staff, stock and client relationships.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Confidence delegating, prioritising and making decisions independently.
• A positive, professional and supportive leadership style.
• The ability to hold people accountable while maintaining a healthy team culture.
• A proactive approach to improving systems and identifying opportunities.
• A current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and coordinate onsite cleaning teams.
• Train, onboard and mentor new employees.
• Delegate responsibilities and ensure teams stay organised and on schedule.
• Act as the primary point of contact between onsite staff and management.
• Manage cleaning stock, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain strong client relationships and address onsite concerns.
• Monitor quality standards and provide constructive staff feedback.
• Work with management to develop and implement operational systems and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and team performance.
• Provide hands‑on support to the cleaning team when required.
