Job summary

Access Group Solutions is seeking a proactive Cleaning Supervisor to lead the team at Glendale Shopping Centre, Newcastle, NSW. The role focuses on retail cleaning, customer service, and weekend roster delivery, with emphasis on safety and KPI achievement.

You will manage a diverse team, supervise rosters and payroll, liaise with clients, and ensure high cleaning standards across floors, restrooms, and entry points. A robust WH&S approach and ongoing training are essential.

Qualifications

• Leading and motivating large, diverse teams.
• Managing rosters and payroll.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including client liaison and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with general detail cleaning, including mall floors, restrooms, entry points, and car parks.
• Managing periodical cleaning schedules, basic machinery maintenance, and floor care.
• Experience with floor care machinery (scrubbing & buffing) is highly desirable.

• Operate and maintain cleaning machinery and equipment.
• Organise and review cleaning schedules, inspections, and audits.
• Manage emergency and safety protocols, always prioritising safety.

Experience:

You will lead a team responsible for the presentation and delivery of cleaning services in a retail precinct. Key areas of experience include:

Leading and motivating large, diverse teams.

Managing rosters and payroll.

Clear written and verbal communication, including client liaison and reporting.

Hands-on experience with general detail cleaning, including mall floors, restrooms, entry points, and car parks.

Managing periodical cleaning schedules, basic machinery maintenance, and floor care, including carpet and high-glass surfaces.

Experience with floor care machinery (scrubbing & buffing) is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Driver's license.

First Aid Certificate.

Knowledge of Work Health & Safety (WH&S) regulations.
