Job summary

RSL LifeCare is seeking a Cleaning Assistant for residential care in Curtin, ACT. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, replenishing supplies, and safe chemical handling within a supportive team environment.

You will follow cleaning schedules, ensure safety, and contribute to a high standard of resident care while complying with WHS policies and organisational guidelines. This permanent position offers opportunities across residential care settings.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to general cleaning schedule ensuring all areas are maintained at an acceptable level of cleanliness.
• Check and replenish supplies such as liquid soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc.
• Check supply of cleaning chemicals and fill containers as required.
• Spot clean spills.
• Ensure safe handling and use of chemicals.
• Comply with relevant WHS policies, procedures, and instruction.
• Maintain a safe work environment and take reasonable care for others’ health and safety.
