Job summary

Woolworths Group is hiring for a Cleaning and Trolley Collection role in South Australia. You will join the Proactive Services team keeping stores hygienic and well-stocked with trolleys, enabling a clean, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike.

You’ll perform daily cleaning tasks, assist customers, and support across departments. No previous experience required; we provide full training. This is a great entry point with opportunities to grow within the Woolworths Group.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness is essential for this role.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs.
• Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy shop floor, walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team room.
• Collect trolleys from car park and surrounding areas.
• Work across departments to meet cleaning needs.
• Assist customers in store with questions or directions.
• Receive full training on equipment to perform tasks safely.

About The Role

Here at Woolies, we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition - this enables our Customers (and your colleagues) to experience an environment that is hygienically clean to work and shop in. You'll work side-by-side with your team whilst bringing a little good to everyone, every day.

What You'll Do

• Complete tasks allocated to you in the daily planner such as sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team room and emptying bins
• Collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas
• Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs
• Help our customers in store by answering questions or providing directions
• Full training in operating a variety of equipment and tools that make your job easier and safer
