Job summary

Woolworths Group in Kingsgate, NSW, is seeking team members for Proactive Services to keep trolleys available and stores pristine, enabling customers and colleagues to shop in a hygienic environment.

You will work alongside your team, with full training on equipment for safer, easier tasks and a role with room to grow within a large, inclusive organisation.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness is essential for this role due to physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs.
• Flexibility to work across different environments such as shop floor, fridges, freezers and car parks.

Responsibilities

• Sweep the shop floor and clean walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team room.
• Collect trolleys from car park and surrounding areas.
• Work across departments to deliver cleaning needs and assist customers with questions.
• Full training in operating a variety of equipment and tools.
• Support in maintaining a hygienic store environment.

About The Role

Here at Woolies, we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition - this enables our Customers (and your colleagues) to experience an environment that is hygienically clean to work and shop in. You'll work side-by-side with your team whilst bringing a little good to everyone, every day.

What You'll Do

• Complete tasks allocated to you in the daily planner such as sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team room and emptying bins
• Collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas
• Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs
• Help our customers in store by answering questions or providing directions
• Full training in operating a variety of equipment and tools that make your job easier and safer

What You'll Bring

• Physical fitness is essential for this role, as it involves physically demanding tasks
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs
• Flexibility to work in different environments such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers and carparks
• Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm
• A good eye for cleanliness and small details
