Job summary

Woolworths Group is looking for dedicated Team Members to join our Proactive Services. You’ll help keep stores pristine and trolleys available, working side-by-side with a supportive team to ensure a hygienic environment for customers and colleagues.

You’ll receive full training on equipment, work across departments, and enjoy flexible options to suit your lifestyle while contributing to a great in-store experience.

Qualifications

• Ambitious mindset, love of retail, and passion for people.
• Physical fitness is essential for this role and the tasks involved.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 5–10 kg.
• Flexible to work in different environments such as shop floor, fridges, freezers and carparks.
• Availability to work across Monday–Sunday with early/late shifts.

Responsibilities

• Sweep the shop floor, clean walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team room; empty bins.
• Collect trolleys on foot from car park and surrounding areas.
• Work across departments to meet cleaning needs.
• Assist customers with questions or directions in-store.
• Receive full training in operating equipment and tools for safety and efficiency.

About The Role

Here at Woolies, we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition - this enables our Customers (and your colleagues) to experience an environment that is hygienically clean to work and shop in. You'll work side-by-side with your team whilst bringing a little good to everyone, every day.

What You'll Do

• Complete tasks allocated to you in the daily planner such as sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team room and emptying bins
• Collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas
• Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs
• Help our customers in store by answering questions or providing directions
• Full training in operating a variety of equipment and tools that make your job easier and safer

What You'll Bring

• Physical fitness is essential for this role, as it involves physically demanding tasks
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs
• Flexibility to work in different environments such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers and carparks
• Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm
• A good eye for cleanliness and small details
