Job summary

Contract Care is a local aged care agency providing cleaning services across the Tweed Heads area in New South Wales. Casual shifts are available for AM, PM and weekends, with flexible availability to suit you and easy app-based rostering.

You'll work across multiple residential aged care facilities, following infection control protocols and delivering high standards of cleanliness in rooms, bathrooms and shared spaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months’ experience in cleaning or housekeeping.
• Current National Police Check.
• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (2 doses) and influenza vaccine.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Reliable transport and ability to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

Contract Care is looking for reliable, experienced cleaners to join our casual aged care agency workforce across the Tweed Heads area. We partner with multiple residential aged care facilities and need cleaners for AM, PM and weekend shifts - as often or as occasionally as suits you.

You’ll work in a respectful, structured environment where infection control matters, residents come first, and your work genuinely makes their home a better place to live.

What you’ll do

• Clean resident rooms, ensuites, bathrooms and common areas to aged care standards
• Follow infection control and hygiene protocols on every shift
• Restock supplies and report any maintenance issues to facility staff
• Work respectfully around residents and the wider care team

Pay & shifts

• Agency cleaner pay rates: $40.98-$85.95 per hour
• Weekly pay, every Friday - no waiting around for your money
• Casual shifts available AM, PM and weekend availability

What you’ll need

• Minimum 3 months’ experience in cleaning, housekeeping or a similar role (aged care experience preferred but not essential)
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain - we can guide you through it)
• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (minimum 2 doses) and current seasonal influenza vaccination
• Right to work in Australia
• Reliable transport and ability to travel between facilities
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties (standing, bending, lifting)
• A respectful, professional approach - you’re working in people’s homes
