Your Responsibilities

As an Aged Care Cleaner, your duties may include:

• Cleaning resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms and dining spaces.
• Completing laundry duties, including washing and caring for residents' linen and personal clothing.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control.
• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping as required.
• Safely handling cleaning products and chemicals.
• Managing waste and contributing to a safe and hygienic environment.

What You Will Need

• Current 2026 Influenza Vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination, where required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Previous cleaning and/or laundry experience, preferably within aged care or healthcare.
• An understanding of WHS and infection control procedures.
• A respectful, reliable and caring approach when working with older people.

Applicants must currently be based in Australia.
