Job summary

City Facilities Management Ltd. is seeking reliable cleaners to join our team servicing Goodstart Early Learning locations in Byron Bay. The role covers cleaning activity rooms, amenities and shared spaces with an emphasis on sanitation and safety.

You’ll work Monday to Friday evenings, with a focus on consistent hours and a competitive hourly rate, plus part-time loading. Training and PPE are provided, with opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred, not essential).
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver’s licence and own car (preferred).
• Willing to obtain a Police Check or Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
