Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a friendly cleaner to join our team in Queensland. You will clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces, disinfect high-touch surfaces, and support safe cleaning practices.

We offer reliable hours Monday to Friday 7:00pm–10:15pm, competitive hourly pay with part-time loading, and uniform and PPE provided. A smartphone for work and valid working rights in Australia are required; drivers license is preferred.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver's licence and own car is preferred.
• Willing to obtain a Police Check or Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
