Job summary

West HQ is seeking an experienced cleaner to maintain facilities across indoor and outdoor areas at our Western Sydney precinct. The role involves night and afternoon shifts, requiring you to lift, bend, and stand for long periods while using cleaning chemicals safely.

You should have prior cleaning experience, your RSA competency card, and be comfortable working outdoors in heat, sun, rain, or wind. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential for unsupervised tasks as well as collaborative

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience in using cleaning equipment and chemical use.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Must hold current RSA competency (or be willing to obtain one).
• Friendly, helpful attitude and able to work unsupervised when needed.
• Flexible regarding shifts and outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain facilities indoors and outdoors across the West HQ precinct.
• Ensure areas are safe and working at all times; handle cleaning duties across shifts.

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure all facilitiesare clean, safe and working at all times. Cleaning duties areperformed both indoors and outdoors across the West HQ precinct.

Who are we looking for?

Someone who is able to cope with the duties of the role whichwill require you to repeatedly lift, bend, crouch, kneel, push,pull, sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.

This role best suits someone who enjoys working as part of ateam but can be trusted to work well unsupervised. A well presentedperson, who enjoys being busy. This role requires working withchemicals and has exposure to smoking areas.

What do you need to be considered?

• Knowledge of and experience in using cleaning equipment andchemical use
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Must have current RSA Competency Card (or be willing to obtainone)
• A helpful and friendly attitude
• Flexibility towards work and role
• Willingness to work outdoors (heat, sun, rain, wind)
• Willingness to work in a smoking environment
• Willingness to work afternoons, nights, over nights, weekendsand public holidays
