Job summary

West HQ is seeking an experienced cleaner to keep facilities clean, safe and in working order across the precinct, indoors and outdoors. You will handle cleaning duties across a range of shifts, including overnight periods, in a busy entertainment and lifestyle destination.

The role suits a team player who can also work independently, with attention to detail and a friendly, reliable attitude. Prior cleaning experience and a valid RSA card (or willingness to obtain one) are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles and familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain RSA Competency Card.
• Friendly, reliable, and able to work in a team.
• Willing to work outdoors in heat, sun, rain.
• Full Australian working rights.

Are you an experienced and reliable cleaner? Do you have availability to work a variety of shifts, including over night? We want to hear from you!

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure all facilities are clean, safe and working at all times. Cleaning duties are performed both indoors and outdoors across the West HQ precinct.

Who are we looking for?

Someone who is able to cope with the duties of the role which will require you to repeatedly lift, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.

This role best suits someone who enjoys working as part of a team but can be trusted to work well unsupervised. A well presented person, who enjoys being busy. This role requires working with chemicals and has exposure to smoking areas.

What do you need to be considered?

• Knowledge of and experience in using cleaning equipment and chemical use
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Must have current RSA Competency Card (or be willing to obtain one)
• A helpful and friendly attitude
• Flexibility towards work and role
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to work outdoors (heat, sun, rain, wind)
• Willingness to work in a smoking environment
• Willingness to work afternoons, nights, over nights, weekends and public holidays
