Eastern Health is seeking casual cleaners across a range of sites in Melbourne. Multiple casual opportunities, with shifts across wards, clinical areas and support spaces. December 2026 and January 2027 availability is mandatory.

You will work across a variety of Eastern Health sites, with salary packaging benefits and a generous range of staff benefits. The role requires physical fitness and a team-oriented approach, with clear communication and organisational skills essential.

About the role

Multiple casual opportunities are available across a range of sites. Duties may vary and include cleaning wards, clinical areas, theatres, kitchens, and administrative spaces.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Physically fit and good attention to detail
• Good knowledge and ability to demonstrate quality cleaning skills
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in theAustralian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.

Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
