Job summary

HealthShare NSW is seeking a compassionate hospital cleaner for Concord Hospital. The role focuses on maintaining clean patient and non-patient areas, following infection control procedures, and handling waste removal to support patient care and comfort.

The successful candidate will assist with infectious cleaning in designated areas and contribute to a safe, welcoming hospital environment for staff and visitors. Australian work rights and health clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Australian work rights required.
• Immunisation and TB screening are required for NSW Health Category A positions.
• Pre-employment health assessment may be required for external candidates.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a high standard of cleaning in patient and non-patient areas.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and waste removal protocols.
• Perform infectious cleaning in designated areas as directed.
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and staff.

Remuneration: $31.42 per hour plus shift allowances and 12% superannuation
