Currumbin Clinic on the Southern Gold Coast is seeking a casual Cleaner to join a hospital team. You will perform general cleaning, work both independently and with colleagues, and help maintain a clean, safe environment in a busy healthcare setting.

Applicants should have general cleaning knowledge, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to handle pressure while protecting confidentiality. A Certificate in Safe Food Handling is preferred; previous catering experience is a plus.

Currumbin Clinic is a 104-bed private mental health hospital located on the Southern Gold Coast, delivering high quality care and positive patient outcomes. We have a team of dedicated Psychiatrists, Medical, Nursing, Allied and Administrative staff who provide expert care in the management and treatment of all acute mental health disorders.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Hospital Services Manager the successful applicant will have a working knowledge of the principles of safety within a health care environment and be able to multi skill between the Environmental Services & Catering Departments. The role is a casual position, and we are seeking someone with a flexible approach to an ever-changing environment.

Cleaner

Vaccination Preventable Disease:

It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment:

• Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
• Varicella (chicken pox)
• Pertussis (whooping cough), Diphtheria and Tetanus

You must be able to provide serology evidence and a VPD form for the above-mentioned vaccinations and will be asked by the recruiting manager to supply this evidence if you are the preferred candidate for the role. Please note you are not susceptible to the VPD's listed in the role description.
