Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking reliable team members to join our Cleaning Crew in Victoria. This casual evening role runs Monday to Friday from 7pm to 9pm, with shifts that fit your schedule and a competitive hourly rate.

You will clean activity rooms, disinfect surfaces, dust, vacuum, and handle cleaning chemicals safely. A smartphone for work, valid Australian working rights, and a willingness to obtain checks are required. Uniform and PPE are supplied, with casual loading and retailer discounts.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver's licence and own car (preferred).
• Willing to obtain a Police Check or Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
