Job summary

CityFM in Cairns, QLD is seeking a casual Cleaner for evening shifts (7pm–9pm, Mon–Fri) across Cairns and surrounding suburbs. You will clean activity rooms, amenities and shared spaces, disinfect high-touch surfaces and follow OH&S policies.

This role suits a positive, eager learner with a can-do attitude. Requirements include valid working rights in Australia, a smartphone for work communications, and a driver’s licence (own car preferred).

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Smartphone required for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver's licence and own car preferred.
• Willing to obtain Police Check or WWC.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment and machinery.
• Lifting, bending and other physical tasks.
• Follow OH&S policies and procedures.
• Woree - 2 hours/day; Trinity Beach - 2 hours/day.

• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
• Woree - 2 hours per day
• Trinity Beach - 2 hours per day

What We're Looking For:

• Previous cleaning experience (preferred, not essential).
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
