The Role

We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period. Manjimup Primary School (PS) is one of two public schools located in the town of Manjimup. With a school history of 100 years, its ties with the community are strong with generations of families having attended the school. Manjimup PS is located 290 kilometres south of Perth and currently caters for 250 students from Kindergarten to Year6. The new school facilities greatly enhance the school’s ability to deliver teaching and learning reflective of modern teaching practises. Important within these are the use of information and communication technologies. The stability of student and staff numbers contributes to the successful implementation of long-term strategies. The Role Suitable applicants will ideally have a good attention to detail and will be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment. Suitable applicants will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices. As a Cleaner you will carry out both internal and external cleaning duties. Internal cleaning includes the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning of furniture and fittings, windows, toilets and dusting. External duties include rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, external windows, verandas and covered areas and cobweb removal. Want to know more? Eligibility

• obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
