Minor Hotels’ Oaks St Kilda Road Hotel in Melbourne is seeking enthusiastic housekeeping staff for casual shifts. You’ll clean guest rooms to high standards, make beds precisely, vacuum, sanitize bathrooms, and support a spotless guest environment.

Shifts run 8:00am–9:00am start, rotating Monday to Sunday, with rates of 33.85 AUD/hour weekdays, 41.96 on Saturday, 48.95 on Sunday. Prior cleaning experience and a strong eye for detail are valued, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Oaks St Kilda Road Hotel is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiple casual opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities

Shift Details (subject to change)

Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday

Shifts starting between 8:00 am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

• Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour
• Saturday: $41.96 per hour
• Sunday: $48.95 per hour
