Oaks Melbourne on Market is seeking dedicated housekeeping staff for casual shifts. The team cleans guest rooms, maintains high cleanliness standards, and works on a rotating roster with shifts starting in the morning. Training is provided and a respectful, safety-conscious environment is emphasized.

Shifts run Mon-Sun with hourly rates from AUD 33.85 to AUD 47.39 depending on day. This is a casual opportunity with room for growth and flexible weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.

Shift Details (subject To Change)

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding Superannuation)

Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour

Saturday: $40.62 per hour

Sunday: $47.39 per hour
