Job summary

HammondCare North Turramurra is seeking Permanent Part Time and Casual Cleaners to join our team. You will support our care model by delivering high-quality cleaning services within the Kitchen for residents.

Successful candidates will be flexible for weekends, have experience in aged care preferred, and follow safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an aged care environment is advantageous.
• Willingness to work across a range of shifts including weekends.
• Follow cleaning guidelines and schedules for equipment and surfaces.
• Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling and standard precautions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understand safe food handling principles and a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen areas and adjacent spaces for residents.
• Follow cleaning schedules and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Work collaboratively with care teams to support resident wellbeing.

HammondCare North Turramurra is currently looking for a Permanent Part Time and Casual Cleaners to join our team.

HammondCare has a unique model of care which places the resident's needs as our number one priority. As a part of the Support Service's Team you will support our model of care by delivering high quality services within the Kitchen to our residents in accordance with the organisational mission and mission in action statement.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including weekends
• Experience in preparing and cooking within an Aged Care environment would be advantageous
• Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
• Follow all cleaning guidelines & schedules for all equipment & working surfaces
• Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling and standard precautions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understand safe food handling principles & how to create a safe working environment
