Berry Street School—Shepparton Campus—is seeking a Classroom Teacher to deliver engaging, trauma-informed learning programs for students at risk of disengagement. You will foster safety, belonging and academic progression in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.

You will apply BSEM practices, review IEPs, use data to guide planning, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive school culture that prioritizes student wellbeing and readiness to learn.

About The Role

As a Classroom Teacher at the Shepparton Campus, you will deliver engaging, individualised learning programs within a safe, inclusive and trauma-informed environment. You will support students’ academic progress, wellbeing and readiness to learn, using strengths-based practice and evidence-informed teaching strategies.

You will apply the Berry Street Education Model (BSEM) in your daily practice to promote engagement, regulation and resilience. Working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams, you will develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Ready to Learn Plans, monitor progress and provide timely feedback.

Your work will reflect strong professional integrity, a commitment to equity and inclusion, and a belief in every student’s capacity to thrive.

The anticipated start date for the successful candidate is 27 January 2027; however, we are open to discussing an earlier commencement date where this suits both the successful applicant and the program.

• Full time, Permanent Role
• $80k -$119k pa (Dependent on experience) + Super & Salary Packaging
