Job summary

St Joseph's Primary School in Grenfell, NSW, is seeking a part‑time Classroom Support Assistant (60 hours per fortnight) to work with teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. These temporary appointments run until the end of 2027 with a return-to-substantive position arrangement under the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications

• WWCC registration required.
• Certificate III in School-Based Education Support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support students’ participation, especially those with diverse learning needs.
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups.
• Modify learning tasks to improve confidence, independence and social‑emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialist teams to implement personalised adjustments.
