St Joseph's College, Banora Point, Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools, invites applications for a Classroom Lab Assistant. This part-time permanent role supports students in a classroom setting, with emphasis on those with special needs and allergy awareness training.

The appointment is for 30 hours per week, commencing 28 January 2027, in the Tweed Region. Applicants must demonstrate Catholic ethos, collaborate with staff, and provide two referees.

Classification & Benefits: This role is classified as Level 4 (averaged) under the NSW and ACT Systemic Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2025 as updated or reviewed. Detailed information regarding the level, salary increments, and general employment conditions can be found within the Agreement.

Applicants must:

• a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.
• experience in working with children with special needs, including children on the autistic spectrum
• awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen
• experience in working collaboratively with teaching staff in a classroom environment
