AFL Recruitment is seeking a Class Actions Litigation Lawyer (5+ years) to head a fast-growing Class Actions practice in Sydney. You will lead a 12-person team, manage high-stakes matters, and report to the Accredited Specialist Managing Partner.

This role offers autonomy, challenge and a path toward equity partnership in a top national plaintiff firm. Flexible/WFH arrangements are available, with a focus on mentoring, paperless systems and a vibrant inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in NSW.
• 5–20+ years of experience in large-scale high-end litigation, including some class actions.
• Outstanding communication, advocacy, time prioritisation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Class Actions team (12 lawyers) and report to the Managing Partner.
• Handle high-level, large-scale class actions, including international matters.
• Drive autonomy, stimulation and fulfilment in a fast-paced litigation environment.
• Develop talent and progress towards equity partnership.

YOUR NEW ROLE

In this key VIP role, as the most senior lawyer heading up the fast-growing CLASS ACTIONS team (team of 12) , reporting to the outstanding Accredited Specialist Managing Partner, you will relish the autonomy+ stimulation+challenge+ fulfilmentof working on high level complex large-scale class actions (including international) cases obtaining justice for plaintiffs+ leading a team.

WHO YOU ARE

• have5-20+ years' experience in large-scale high end superior court litigation including some class actions (essential);
