Responsibilities

• Design and deliver an exceptional programme of learning that follows the Steiner curriculum and is contextualised to Aurora and NSW
• Create a warm and inclusive learning environment where children flourish physically, socially/emotionally and academically
• Integrate academic, artistic and practical learning in rhythmically rejuvenating and creative ways to ensure balanced learning and to foster wellbeing
• Implement diverse and effective teaching strategies to meet the full range of children's educational needs
• Assess and monitor student progress and development, and work closely with students, colleagues and parents to achieve excellent educational outcomes for each child
• Plan and organise class and community events to expand student learning and to build meaningful connections and the experience of belonging
• Maintain attendance records and teaching and learning documentation, including Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and assessment data
• Work closely with the Learning Support Team, teacher assistants, families, external agencies/professionals to design and implement differentiated learning plans and goals
• Engage in professional learning that deepens an understanding of Steiner Education, as well as current advancements in approaches to teaching and learning
