About The Role

• Manage end-to-end claims handling by following AAL Claims Management processes and making sound liability decisions throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Apply insurance and legislative knowledge to ensure accurate claims assessments, compliance and effective decision-making.
• Oversee and review claims portfolios, including authorising payments within delegated authority and minimising claim leakage and costs.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships with claimants, colleagues, and internal/external partners while providing clear, tailored communication.
• Support team performance and customer outcomes through coaching, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and delivering timely, high-quality claims service.
• Manage total loss claims from assessment through settlement, ensuring accurate valuations, compliance with regulatory requirements, timely customer outcomes, and effective negotiation with relevant stakeholders.

• Demonstrate advanced claims expertise by managing complex insurance claims and applying technical knowledge, processes and procedures effectively.
