Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Experience in civil, electrical or other utility works is highly regarded.
• Construction induction (White Card) and relevant machine tickets are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and complete tasks as part of the work crew under supervision.
• Install underground electrical conduits, pits, structures and civil tasks.
• Install underground power cables (cable hauling) and assist with jointing/terminating works.
• Perform general civil construction tasks including trenching, earthworks, concreting, asphalting.
• Operate plant and equipment safely and in accordance with policies.
• Maintain safety and environmental controls on site.
• Available for out-of-hours work as needed.

THE ROLE

Due to sustained growth across a number of sectors, we are currently seeking Civil Workers with multiple positions available.

This Civil Worker role is responsible for:

• Understanding and completing tasks as part of the work crew as directed by the Leading Hand, Operator Foreman, and Site Manager.
• Installation of underground electrical conduits, pits, structures and associated civil tasks.
• Installation of underground power cables (cable hauling).
• Supporting tasks for jointing and terminating works.
• General civil construction including trenching, earthworks, concreting, asphalting, etc.
• Safe and correct operation of plant and equipment.
• Complying with all Health, Safety and Environmental controls in accordance with business policies.
• Out of hours availability.
