Job summary

Zeal Personnel is seeking a hands-on Civil Site Supervisor to manage subdivision sites across Perth, reporting to the Project Engineer and Project Manager. You'll supervise works from pre-start to practical completion, ensuring safety, compliance and alignment with project specs on $5–20m civil scopes.

The role requires reading plans, coordinating with subcontractors, maintaining QA records, and traveling across the Perth metro to support multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Civil site supervision experience on subdivisions preferred
• Exposure to drainage, road construction, footpaths or kerbing
• Solid understanding of QA and compliance documents
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans and levels
• Confident with subcontractors and on-site client representatives
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proactive and solutions-focused with prioritisation
• Current C Class licence essential
• White Card essential

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-start and practical completion walkthroughs

Our client seeks the services of a Civil Supervisor, working on subdivisions in Neerabup, northern suburbs.

About The Role

This is a hands‑on supervision role with real ownership - you’ll be the on‑ground point of contact across active subdivision sites, working closely with the Project Engineer and Project Manager to keep works progressing safely, compliantly and to specification from pre‑start through to practical completion. Projects typically range from $5m to $20m across a range of civil scopes including drainage, road construction, concrete footpaths, kerbing and slabs.

Key Duties

• Conducting pre-start and practical completion (PC) walkthroughs
• Managing subcontractor compliance with daily checklists, QA documentation and site‑specific requirements
• Assessing site and ground conditions ahead of works, flagging risks or issues and advising on suitability to proceed
• Supporting site teams with plan interpretation on complex setups
• Compiling and maintaining QA documentation for internal and external stakeholders
• Identifying and escalating potential variations or scope changes to the Project Engineer or Project Manager
• Acting as the on‑site point of contact for client site representatives and other stakeholders
• Travelling across Perth metro (north and south) to support project requirements as needed

About You

• Demonstrated site supervisory experience in civil construction — subdivision experience highly regarded
• Exposure to drainage, road construction, concrete footpaths, kerbing or related civils scopes (highly desirable)
• Solid understanding of site‑based QA and compliance documentation
• Ability to read and interpret civil/engineering plans and levels
• Confident dealing directly with subcontractors and on‑site client representatives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive and solutions‑focused with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Current C Class driver’s licence (essential)
• White Card (essential)
