MCS Civil is a privately owned Australian civil contractor delivering major energy and transmission projects across Regional NSW. You will join project teams as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, gaining hands-on site exposure and contributing to critical infrastructure delivery.

Working alongside project managers, site managers and subcontractors, you will help with planning, documentation, inspections and cost control while advancing your technical and leadership

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil construction; opportunities from developing engineers to senior roles.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, standards and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of QA processes, ITPs, inspections and hold points.
• Understanding of programming, project controls, progress reporting and cost management.
• Familiarity with surveying, quantities, measurements and construction set-out.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam or similar software.
• Experience on energy, transmission, utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate construction activities with site teams and clients.
• Current White Card and unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.
• Willingness to work DIDO/FIFO rosters across regional project locations.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and support construction activities across civil, energy and transmission infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to construction planning, programming, short-term scheduling and project delivery strategies.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, scopes of work and technical documentation.
• Prepare and review work packs, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), SWMS and other project documentation.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, quantities, resources and project milestones.
• Conduct site inspections, quality assurance checks and verification of completed works.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel to maintain construction schedules and delivery standards.
• Ensure works comply with project specifications, Australian Standards, contractual requirements and quality procedures.
• Support procurement, cost tracking, progress claims, reporting and project administration.
• Identify construction risks, resolve technical issues and contribute to practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site teams, with senior roles taking greater responsibility for project coordination, planning and delivery outcomes.
