Protech Group is seeking experienced Civil Plant Operators for ongoing projects across North Queensland and remote locations in Australia. role involves operating civil construction plant, road maintenance, asphalt and spray seal work, earthworks and drainage, with travel to regional sites as required.

We expect current licences, white card, and relevant tickets, plus the ability to work day or night shifts and pass medical and drug tests.

Formación

• Current Driver Licence
• Construction White Card
• RII/Appropriate license or ticket for operating machinery
• Experience operating in civil/construction/road maintenance or asphalt environments
• Willing to travel for projects
• Able to work day and night shifts
• Pass Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Attend Protech office for onboarding and compliance requirements

Responsabilidades

• Operate civil construction plant and equipment
• Participate in road construction and maintenance works
• Support asphalt and spray seal operations
• Perform earthworks and pavement works
• Contribute to drainage and culvert construction
• Assist with road shoulder rehabilitation
• Support traffic management activities
• Conduct routine plant inspections and maintenance
• Engage in general civil construction activities

About the Role Protech is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Civil Plant Operators for ongoing projects across North Queensland, regional Queensland, and remote locations.
These opportunities span a variety of road maintenance, civil construction, asphalt, spray seal, and infrastructure projects. We are looking for operators who can work safely and efficiently within a team environment and are willing to travel when required.

Duties May Include:

• Operating civil construction plant and equipment
• Road construction and maintenance works
• Asphalt and spray seal operations
• Earthworks and pavement works
• Drainage and culvert construction
• Road shoulder and rehabilitation works
• Traffic management support activities
• Routine plant inspections and maintenance
• General civil construction activities

Essential Requirements

• Current Driver Licence
• Construction White Card
• RII / Appropriate license or ticket for operating machinery
• Demonstrated operating experience within civil, construction, road maintenance, or asphalt environments
• Ability to work away from home when required
• Availability for day and night shift work
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Ability to attend the Protech office for onboarding and compliance requirements

Highly Regarded

• MR Licence or higher
• Roller, Loader, Excavator, Skid Steer, Grader or Moxy experience
• Asphalt or spray seal experience
• Traffic Management tickets
• Additional machinery tickets and licences
• Experience working on live road networks
