Job summary

Protech is hiring a Plant Operator for Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal. This role combines machine operation with general cleanup duties as part of the Production Day Crew. The ideal candidate will hold an HR licence and LO/RI tickets, with willingness to obtain MSIC and Construction Card.

The position offers a full-time contract with a Mon-Fri roster, onsite support, and weekly pay options, plus salary sacrifice possibilities. Onsite work near the ocean provides a stable, local role for residents.

Qualifications

• HR Licence required.
• Front-End Loader RII Ticket required.
• Construction Industry White Card or willingness to obtain.
• MSIC or willingness to obtain.
• Bobcat/Excavator RII Tickets are advantageous but not essential.
• Full Australian Working Rights required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and perform general clean-up tasks as part of the Production Day Crew.
• Participate in a variety of duties beyond machine operation to support production.

About the Role

This position involves a combination of machine operation and general operational clean-up tasks. It is not solely machine-based; you will be engaged in a variety of duties as part of the Production Day Crew. The successful candidate will ideally possess the following qualifications & Skills:

• HR Licence
• Front-End Loader RII Ticket
• Construction Industry White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Maritime Safety Identification Card – MSIC (or willingness to obtain)
• Bobcat and/or Excavator RII Tickets (advantageous but not essential)
• Full Australian Working Rights
