Symal's South Australian civil construction business Davison Earthmovers delivers earthworks, drainage and civils across Adelaide. As Project Engineer you will partner with experienced leaders, own meaningful project outcomes and build your career in a growing SA business backed by Symal Group.

You’ll coordinate construction engineering activities, contribute to cost forecasts, promote a strong safety culture and keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Experience on a broad range of civil projects such as road, earthworks and drainage.
• Sound understanding of the local construction industry and familiarity with contractors, councils and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure projects meet plans and specs.
• Participating in monthly financial reviews and providing cost forecasts against budgets.
• Leading and supporting a strong safety culture.
• Managing the construction program and mitigating schedule risks.
• Demonstrating financial awareness in project decisions.
