Job summary

Monadelphous invites a Civil Project Engineer to lead civil scope delivery for a major gas turbine power station project in Queensland. You will oversee earthworks, foundations, drainage and building works, ensuring constructability and readiness through design reviews and field support.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration, with FIFO/BIBO rosters and exposure to multidisciplinary interfaces across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and commissioning works.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven construction experience delivering civil scopes.
• Current RPEQ registration or eligibility to obtain RPEQ.
• Experience on gas-fired power generation or EPC projects.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and governance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of civil work packages including earthworks, foundations, roads, drainage and buildings.
• Review drawings, specs and geotechnical data to confirm constructability.
• Manage work packs, methodologies, materials and subcontractor scopes.
• Coordinate civil interfaces with mechanical, electrical, structural and commissioning teams.
• Provide field engineering support and resolve technical issues on site.
• Maintain quality records, ITPs and site documentation.
