Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a motivated Civil Project Engineer to support a major gas turbine power station project in Queensland. The role focuses on coordinating civil construction work packages from engineering and procurement through construction, quality verification, commissioning support and close‑out.

This hands-on position requires leadership across civil and structural scopes to ensure engineering compliance, construction readiness and successful project outcomes throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and registration clearly noted.
• Experience delivering civil works on major EPC or power projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and design governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of civil work packages from earthworks to concrete foundations and pavements.
• Coordinate civil interfaces with mechanical, electrical, structural and commissioning teams.
• Review drawings, specs and geotechnical data for constructability and readiness.
• Manage work packs, methodologies, material requirements and subcontractor scopes.
• Provide field engineering support and resolve technical issues on site.
