Job summary

Roussos Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer in South Australia to contribute across the delivery of civil projects and progressively take on greater ownership. You will work with experienced teams, gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, and develop technical, commercial and leadership skills for progression.

This role offers a clear pathway toward Senior Project Engineer and Project Management within a growing civil contractor, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction or infrastructure.
• A relevant Civil Engineering qualification.
• Exposure to civil infrastructure project delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence working with Project Managers, Senior Engineers and Site Supervisors.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project and site challenges.
• A genuine ambition to progress your career.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
• Managing engineering activities across project programmes and key milestones.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Supporting Project Managers and Senior Project Engineers with project delivery.
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design, quality and compliance requirements.
• Providing technical and engineering support to site teams.
• Completing Quality Assurance and WHS processes.
• Preparing Work Method Statements, ITPs and project documentation.
• Contributing to project problem-solving and continuous improvement.
