Job summary

WorkPac is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of major civil and earthworks programs. You will work closely with Project Leads, Construction Superintendents, Supervisors, and operational stakeholders to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and in line with scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• 8+ years' experience in project delivery, construction, or engineering roles.
• Strong experience in civil construction and bulk earthworks projects.
• Mining, infrastructure, dams, tailings, or residue management experience.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost management, and scheduling.
• Proven field-based construction and project delivery experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operational and construction teams.
• Current Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of major civil and earthworks programs.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Provide technical and field engineering support to construction teams.
• Monitor project performance, productivity, and progress.
• Manage project risks, changes, and technical issues.
• Support project governance, quality assurance, and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
• Liaise with stakeholders to achieve project objectives and milestones.
• Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes.
