WorkPac is seeking an experienced Project Lead to support a major residue management and infrastructure program. Based in Brisbane or Gladstone with regular site travel, you will oversee annual wall raise design activities and contribute to a long-term infrastructure strategy.

You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Tailings & Water, and Project Delivery teams to lead consultants, manage risks, and ensure designs are safe, compliant and fit for purpose in large-scale mining and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Strong leadership in large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with mining, earthworks, dams, water storage, tailings or residue management.
• Demonstrated design and project leadership experience.
• Experience managing engineering consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent governance, risk, cost and schedule management.
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Ability to lead complex engineering and project delivery activities.

Responsabilités

• Lead civil design development for annual wall raise programs.
• Manage engineering consultants and specialist technical providers.
• Coordinate geotechnical investigations and technical studies.
• Manage design scope, schedules, budgets and project risks.
• Support capital planning and funding submissions.
• Lead design assurance, governance and review activities.
• Ensure designs are practical, constructible and compliant.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to achieve delivery objectives.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Support development of long-term infrastructure strategies.
