Job summary

WorkPac is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination and delivery of major civil and earthworks programs in our Gladstone operations. The role involves close collaboration with Project Leads, Construction Superintendents and operational stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 8+ years' experience in project delivery, construction, or engineering roles.
• Strong experience in civil construction and bulk earthworks projects.
• Mining, infrastructure, dams, tailings, or residue management experience.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost management, and scheduling.
• Proven field-based construction and project delivery experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operational and construction teams.
• Current Driver's Licence.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of major civil and earthworks programs. Working closely with Project Leads, Construction Superintendents, Supervisors, and operational stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and in line with scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

This role offers the opportunity to work across significant infrastructure and earthworks projects, providing both project controls and hands-on construction support throughout the project lifecycle.
