Job summary

Knight Piésold is seeking a Project Engineer (civil or geotechnical) to join our Perth-based team. You will support coordination and delivery of project activities to ensure quality, safety and performance across execution phases.

The ideal candidate has a degree in civil/geotechnical engineering and 2+ years’ experience in mining or geotechnical-related fields, with strong planning, design, and stakeholder communication skills. Perth-based role with mentoring and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in civil or geotechnical engineering.
2+ years’ relevant experience in the mining, civil, or geotechnical industries.
Experience planning, scheduling, conducting, and delegating engineering and geotechnical investigations.
Experience in civil/geotechnical design for bulk earthworks, water dams, tailings dams, heap leach pads, foundations, and civil structures.
Experience monitoring work for compliance with relevant codes, practices, and standards.
Ability to verify that earthworks are constructed in accordance with the design intent.
Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills, ensuring effective coordination between clients and internal project teams.
High level of attention to detail.
Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage projects effectively.
