Job summary

Knight Piésold is seeking Senior Project Engineers (civil or geotechnical) to join our Perth-based team. You will work on an extensive pipeline of projects, coordinating activities to maintain high standards of quality, safety and performance.

Reporting to the Principal Engineer, you will provide technical input, help drive delivery across project phases, and mentor team members. This is a great opportunity for career growth in a respected global consulting firm.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in civil or geotechnical engineering (or an equivalent tertiary qualification).
• 10+ years’ relevant experience in the mining, civil, or geotechnical industries.
• Experience planning, scheduling, conducting, and delegating engineering and geotechnical investigations.
• Experience in civil/geotechnical design for bulk earthworks, water dams, tailings dams, heap leach pads, foundations, and civil structures.
• Experience monitoring work for compliance with relevant codes, practices, and standards.
• Ability to verify that earthworks are constructed in accordance with the design intent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver project activities to ensure high quality, safety, and performance.
• Provide technical and logistical input to project teams to ensure efficiency across execution phases.
• Support delivery within defined timeframes and budget requirements.
• Report to the Principal Engineer and mentor junior staff where appropriate.
