Job summary

Roadsafe Asphalt Vic in Melbourne, VIC seeks a Project Engineer (Civil) to lead asphalt paving projects from conception to completion. You will estimate, plan, and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 3–5 years of project engineering experience, with proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD. Travel to sites across Victoria is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of project engineering experience in asphalt paving or civil construction.
• Proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and quoting for projects based on detailed analysis.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets with the Project Manager.
• Review drawings, provide technical guidance, and ensure standards compliance.
• Manage day-to-day project activities including resources and procurement.
• Maintain client communication and prepare detailed progress reports.
• Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
