Job summary

JB Civil Concreting in Bathurst, NSW is hiring a Loader Operator for a permanent, full-time role. You will safely operate loaders to move materials for civil and concreting projects, reporting to site supervisors and coordinating with truck drivers.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as Loader Operator.
• Experience operating front-end loaders or similar earthmoving plant in civil/construction environments.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and safe plant operating procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow site plans and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position loaders per site requirements and daily plans.
• Operate loader to move, load, stockpile and place materials.
• Fit and remove loader attachments as required.
• Raise, lower and manipulate attachments safely.
• Monitor plant operation; adjust controls for safe performance.
• Follow site plans and verbal instructions to place materials.
• Carry out daily pre-start and post-operational checks.
• Clean, lubricate, refuel loaders and perform basic maintenance.
• Report faults and unsafe equipment; isolate if needed.
• Assist with maintaining clean work areas and traffic flow.
