Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking a Skilled Labourer in Brisbane to support a 6+ month civil project on concrete roadways and driveways. You will work on-site with experienced concreters, performing formwork, concrete placement, and site duties.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 10-hour days starting at 6:30am. Pay is AU$40 per hour plus penalties and a daily travel allowance of AU$22.41. A Construction White Card and relevant civil labouring experience are required.

Qualifications

• Construction White Card is required.
• Civil construction experience is required.
• Concrete preparation and labouring duties experience is required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Driver's licence and reliable transport are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boxing and setting up edge formwork
• Guide and manage the concrete hose during pours
• Shovel, rake and spread concrete to required depths
• Assist with screeding and levelling to falls and set heights
• Strip formwork once concrete has cured
• Clean tools, pumps and equipment after concrete pours
• Maintain a safe and tidy work area throughout the pour

About Our Client

Our Client is delivering civil construction works involving concrete roadways and driveways. You will work alongside concreters as part of a site-based construction team.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Skilled Labourer you will be responsible for the below duties:

What You Will Need

• Previous civil construction experience
• Experience completing concrete preparation and labouring duties
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
