Job summary

Workpac Group is seeking an experienced Civil Labourer to support a major road upgrade project in South East Queensland. You will perform civil construction tasks, assist with maintenance and repair works, and help keep worksites safe and efficient.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months of civil labouring experience, hold a White Card and a valid driver's licence with reliable transport, and are physically fit for manual labour in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Physically able to perform manual labour and lift heavy loads.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work in a civil construction team.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with road construction, maintenance, and repair works
• Perform general manual labour, including digging, shovelling, raking, and moving materials
• Assist with excavation, trenching, drainage, and earthworks
• Prepare and level surfaces for asphalt, concrete, kerbing, and other roadworks
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Assist plant operators and tradespeople as required
• Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite, including removal of debris and waste

As an Experienced Civil Labourer you will support a respected civil construction contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across South East Queensland. You will join their team on a road upgrade project and be responsible for civil construction, maintenance, and repair works.
