PHILLIP RILEY PROJECTS PTY LTD – Sydney NSW is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. The role covers cost estimation support, material testing, drawing creation and equipment selection for civil projects. You will gather data for traffic surveys, analyse results and ensure compliance with specifications and contract terms.

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required. Salary ranges from AU$87,500 to AU$107,500 per year, plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cost estimation for civil engineering tasks.
• Interpret work guidelines and perform tests on building materials for civil engineering work.
• Create drawings and tables and select the right equipment and procedures.
• Examine civil engineering sites and arrange maintenance and repair work.
• Gather data for traffic surveys and carry out tests on construction materials and soils.
• Analyze data, perform calculations and verify compliance with specifications, regulations and contract terms.
