GHD in Townsville invites penultimate-year Civil Engineering students to join our summer internship program. You’ll work with engineers on infrastructure, transport and water projects, gaining hands-on experience and industry connections.

During three months, you’ll contribute to design work, assist with calculations and drawings, participate in site visits, and receive meaningful feedback to kickstart your career in consulting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Civil Engineering degree with strong academic performance.
• Interest in infrastructure, transport and water projects.
• Ready to commit to a 3-month summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist Civil Engineers with planning, design, and delivery of civil projects.
• Prepare technical calculations, drawings, and design documentation.
• Participate in site visits, inspections and field investigations.
• Support data collection and analysis to develop engineering solutions.
• Help manage schedules, deliverables and client requirements on projects.
